Dragon Egg

There is exactly one Dragon Egg on the entire server. It is the most coveted object in Soulwyn, granting powerful bonuses to whichever alliance controls it. Wars have been waged, alliances shattered, and empires built around the pursuit of this single artifact.

Default Location

At the start of each season, the Dragon Egg rests on a pedestal at the world spawn. It remains there until an alliance claims it through a siege. The spawn pedestal is protected and cannot be raided using normal means; only the egg-specific stealing mechanic can remove it.

Bonuses

The alliance that holds the Dragon Egg receives the following benefits for all members:

• +10% XP from all sources (mining, combat, smelting, etc.)
• -15% claim upkeep cost reduction on all territory
• "Dragon Lords" title displayed next to the alliance tag

These bonuses are active as long as the egg is placed as a block within the alliance's claimed territory.

Stealing the Egg

The Dragon Egg can only be stolen during an active Siege on the chunk where the egg is placed. To steal it, a player must stand next to the egg and begin a 60-second channeling process. During the channel:

• The player cannot move from their position
• Any damage taken interrupts the channel, resetting the timer
• A server-wide broadcast announces that someone is attempting to steal the Dragon Egg, including the coordinates

Successfully completing the channel transfers ownership of the egg to the stealing player's alliance. The egg appears in the player's inventory and must be placed in claimed territory within 5 minutes or it returns to spawn.

Transfer Cooldown

After the Dragon Egg changes hands, there is a 7-day cooldown before it can be stolen again. This gives the new holders time to establish their position and prevents constant back-and-forth theft.

Anti-Abuse Rules

Several restrictions prevent the Dragon Egg from being hidden or abused:

• The egg cannot be stored in an Ender Chest or Shulker Box
• The egg must be placed as a block in the holding alliance's claimed territory
• If the egg is in unclaimed territory for more than 5 minutes, it automatically returns to the spawn pedestal
• If the holding alliance disbands, the egg returns to spawn immediately
